Restorative dentistry cavity treatment and fillings
Restorative dentistry treats cavities and restores damaged teeth. The doctor removes the decayed tooth tissue and restores the shape and function of the tooth with a filling.
Treated early, a cavity can be solved with a simple filling. Left untreated, it can reach the nerve of the tooth and require root canal treatment.

Frequently asked questions
Does cavity treatment hurt?
For your comfort, the doctor uses local anaesthesia when needed, so that the treatment is as comfortable as possible.
Is it normal to feel pain after a filling?
Slight sensitivity may occur in the first few days. If the pain is strong or persists, contact the clinic for a check-up.
How long does a composite filling last?
It depends on the size of the restoration, oral hygiene and habits such as teeth grinding. Regular check-ups help detect any problems early.
The information on this page is general and does not replace a consultation. The treatment plan is decided by the doctor after an examination.
